Our History
StageReady Acting Academy has a rich and vibrant history, rooted in a passion for the performing arts and a commitment to excellence in acting education. Founded in 2005 by renowned actors and educators, Alistair Humphrey and Seraphina Bellweather, StageReady has grown from a small studio in Greenwich Village to a leading acting academy in New York City.

2005: Founding of StageReady Acting Academy
Alistair Humphrey and Seraphina Bellweather, two passionate actors and educators, establish StageReady Acting Academy in a small studio in Greenwich Village, New York City. The academy begins by offering introductory acting classes and workshops, focusing on foundational techniques and character development.

2008: Expansion and New Course Offerings
Due to increasing demand and the academy's growing reputation, StageReady expands its facilities and course offerings. New courses are introduced, including improvisation, scene study, and acting for film and television. 2012: Introduction of the Advanced Performance Program
